Continued arrest of protesting women; Farhat Popelzi was arrested by intelligence

Sources say that Farhat Popalzi, one of the protesting women of Afghanistan, was arrested by the caretaker government’s intelligence. Julia Parsi, one of Mrs. Popelzi’s relatives, told Goharshad media that the caretaker government’s intelligence has detained her for three days and there is no news of her fate until now. Farhat Popelzi is a member of the “Spontaneous Movement of Fighting Women of Afghanistan”. Mrs. Popalzi is arrested while last week, Zarifa Yaqoubi and four members of the Afghan Women’s Movement were arrested by the forces of this government in Kabul. The caretaker government of Ms. Yaqoubi and four of her colleagues arrested her during a press conference when she announced the Afghan women’s movement. After the arrest of Zarifa Yaqoubi, Zabihullah Mujahid, the spokesperson of the current government, said about the arrest of women’s rights activists that they receive orders from outside and are told to protest so that disbelief starts.
